1930's Mohair Sofa & Armchair

Just in... this marvelous mint condition 7’ vintage sofa and 40” armchair! They are entirely original. The original vintage rose upholstery is soft, durable and all natural genuine mohair, and shows no wear of any kind. I would have to guess that it was always covered. I’m not sure what type of wood the trim is. Made here in Portland, ORE in the 30’s by the Portland Furniture Co./Biltwell . Springs are soft but supportive and resilient. The cushions have springs within them. It had one owner for 70 years. The story has it that it was made by the grandfather who worked for the company. Sold as a set only. If all you can do is to come in and sit on this comfy and springy piece and feel the soft fabric then so be it (it will be worth your visit).
